Abstract wall turning

Hi All,
Its been a while since I last posted or turned anything due to work and family commitments. I started this piece wayback in February and thought it was about time it was completed.
The wood is sycamore that has been stained black before being turned. The cente section is also sycamore and has been textured and stained.
The centre part is fixed to the side parts by glued dowels and held apart/supported by two stainless steel rods.
Overall size 410 by 280 mm.

Ken, that is one delightfully beautifully detailed piece, like it..  shame I'd not come up with it first..    ...      ...    ....
 jokes a side, nice to see it finished, the wait was worth it, well done..  I've still some to finish as well, then it's the time to take pictures that are clear.. work backs up an one can just spin wheels..

Hi Ken, It's like with any decoration, likes an dislikes change with the colour of the day, this piece is however, a family heirloom, if only in the attic in years to come..  enjoy your wonderful work.. I do.

Hi David and Dave,
I would put it in the attic buts its full  .Its a one of those jobs that one puts off for later!!.
Its still hanging on the wall and I am happy with it for the time being plus my wife likes it
