rippled ash bowl 15x3" in size finished in butchers block oil and a beeswax polish.

I agree with Fuzzy, the shape is really appealing, shame the photo is a bit out of focus.

We use to have a member of this forum who turned flattish, quite heavy looking bowls/dishes and called them 'Life' bowls, somewhere for a gentleman to empty his pockets when he comes into the house. I can see this sitting in just that place and being well used and loved.
