Title: 4 faced candlesticks
Post by: Dave Wraight on October 29, 2021, 09:44:35 AM
Not strictly faces(following Will Stewart) but 4 sides. Demo on You Tube. This was a practice set and I know that the finish is not good. Once made as a set of 4 they then need to be mounted on a base. These were made in elm.

Looks fun to me!  I suppose one could do variations with matching geometric shapes on adjacent faces?

More people should comment on Gallery postings - even if the comments are not extensive!

This project was OK but I wouldn't bother again - too many square edges flying around! I did quite a few square edged 'bowls in lockdown - its the sanding which gets me eevrytime!

Sometimes things get lots of comments  - other times nothing. I'm not sure either why the monthly competition they set up has hardly taken off and looks like it will die out - only one entry in October.
