Post by: bodrighywood on March 21, 2021, 11:33:55 AM
Mo and I have been racking our brains this New Year for something differnent to do and came up with the idea of doing a collectors series. (Full explanation on my web site) Basically they are 'little mpeople' each one u ique and different. Hdere are a few examples  We call them 'Bods' after Odd bods and prt of Bodrighy.,

They are cute, along the lines of the Gonks done by the tiny Turner, I am sure they will be a big hit.

Yes, she’s had some good stuff on FB recently. She sells “Gonk” kits with timber and faux fur so lots of others on there as well.

It's good to see somebody taking a popular, basic idea and then refining it so that it has a very personalised twist to the design. That's difficult to do once, but to come up with so many variations is quite something.

They are great, a brilliant take on the current craze of making them. Hope they sell well.

Thank you

These are a series complete with a story line and a little biography of each one. We need to make each one as unique as possible and as distinctive as we can so are trying to think of different types all the time. Got a fireman and a window cleaner to finish off and a list of others to have a go at. Full series so far can be found at here (http://www.bodrighy.co.uk/bodrighywood/cat_1737069-Collectable-Bods.html) if anyone is interested

I like these Pete Each having their own personality. The Gonk design has been around way before Emma (The Tiny Turner) started making them. It is nice to see a different variation on them

Thank you Bryan. We are having great fun I must admit, trying different designs and stories. They are all in the adoption agency here (http://www.bodrighy.co.uk/bodrighywood/cat_1737069-Bods-Adoption-Agency-cc-pg_2.html) along with size amd of course their stories. Oddly we have sold some but also getting commissions. 'Can you make a photographer on' is the latest LOL.

Pete

P.S. Fpr any vegans amomgst us  all the facial hair is faux fur no animal ios hurt in the making of these apart from me when I caught my finger doing a babies bottle.
