Post by: Roger Groom on February 26, 2021, 05:38:56 PM
This is a small pierced and textured beaker/vase, made from Walnut and is 6" high and 4" diameter. Finished with s/s and acrylic satin lacquer. Feel free to comment or not.

 Hi Roger,
Very nice piece with a lot of work in the piercing you must have a lot of time on your hands lol I hope you and your Family are keeping well.
                                    Regards John

 Roger
Good to see you are still producing the high quality turnings like those you always placed on the Club table for Critique,  I always envied your work and sadly  never got to produce pieces to come anywhere near.       The lathe has be very idle this last couple of years due to various reasons but like the spring flowers has stared to come to life again.... just need for me to do the same.

The  Beaker     Love the form and the balance of the piercing's  --   It sits so well but  not so sure it will  hold a warming fluid

regards  Bill H.

I have a problem with this.

A beaker normally holds a liquid and this won't (okay, funny humour over)

But on the plus side, it looks stunning.
