Title: Going Loco
Post by: Derek on July 10, 2020, 10:09:55 PM
Just finished this loco today made from all scrap wood 26" long. Finished with acrylic SS and Satin Lacquer spray cans which makes it easy to finish.
As can be seen plenty of turning involved, there are 18 wheels to start with of three different sizes

C and C welcome

Oooh, I like that, very nice indeed.
Did you make it from plans or just wing it?

That is beautiful work, an Heirloom piece if you can keep it out of the hands of too small children.

Fantastic piece of work something to be proud of and passed down to future generations.

Thank you Bryan and John. This was asked for someone's grandson but I believe that it will be kept for when he is old enough to appreciate it, I did explain it is not suitable to be played with
