Having a break from texturing and making bowls for Mo. Had this piece lying around for a couple of years not knowing what was under all the dirt. Time to find out

Natural edge, splits, burr wood and holes what more can you ask for from a piece of wood LOL. Think I may have a bit of sanding to do when I finish shaping. It's 29" diameter so biggest I can get on the lathe without adjusting the rest. Suprisingly well balanced though, no vibration.Still taking it slow though. Roughed out so far but plenty thick enough to change if I want to. #
