Title: Need simple 32mm stair spindles turning please! (Crewe)
Post by: billy_bottle on November 14, 2019, 02:27:19 PM
As above, I'm in South Cheshire. I need 3 off 32mm stair spindles turning up from 32mm blanks, nearest style reference is 'colonial', but in reality very simple things and have a sample to copy. Suit an accomplished amateur woodworker, can send a pic of what I need. Used to be someone near me but they packed it in. The style I need is now obsolete. I can send pics if needed. Get some beer money, go on it's easy, lol! Thanx folks.

Billy....one limiting factor for many turners will be the overall length of the spindle....it might help your chances of getting a turner signed up for this if you state the overall length

I was leaving this one for someone nearer to Crewe, but as Les said total length is important, as is type of timber, and is timber supplied or to be sourced.
