Post by: willstewart on September 29, 2019, 02:52:47 PM
This is very simple but a good use for nice bits of leftover wood and in surprising demand!  This one in walnut & burr chestnut. 65mm dia.

Made a good few of these over the years, mainly for the american crafters. Also made some about 8" across that get used for mashing veg LOL. Nice thing abput specialising in crafting tools is tht I do't waste much wood LOL.

Two more of these - and I have orders for more! So a possible Xmas gift.  Someone also asked me for more on this forum but has not followed up so there is demand. Easy to make from offcuts - here ash handles and spalted beech & redwood tops.
