Title: More stock
Post by: bodrighywood on April 19, 2018, 12:23:30 PM
Few more pieces for stock for Wisley. These are all in my 'medieval range and are made from elm and walnut (tipsy goblets) and elm and spalted beech. The stones are amethyst and aventurine in the tipsy ones and amethyst. aventurine and amber in the spalted beech ones. Both pairs stand 325mm tall and hold.....quite a bit LOL. Perfect for the beer, cider or mead drinker or even the wine drinker who doesn't like to refill all the time. At shows we have a little sign by the tipsy range reading 'When these look straight you have had enough'

C&C welcome

Pete

These hold just over 1/2 litre. About a pint in old money. Most of a bottle of wine LOL.

True though it should be disputandum I have to focus on that of the poeople who I try and sell too who fortunately seem to like goblets in varying forms. They are a good bread and butter item. Perhaps I need to go more steam punk?

Pete,

I never realised before just how large your goblets were, brings a new meaning to 'Just one glass'.

They come in all sorts of sizes Bryan LOL. I try and have a variety of different styles and designs for shows. Some like these flutes are quite small, others are silly size like the litre one here.
