Title: Car body filler chalise
Post by: john taylor on August 25, 2011, 01:41:43 PM
A while ago I asked about car body filler on THIS (http://www.awgb.co.uk/awgbforum/index.php?topic=313.0) post here are the results.

I used a product from Plastic Padding called leak-fix
It is Spalted Beech 9 1/2" x 8 1/2" finished with 3 coats of Chestnut hard wax oil

The black leak-fix blends right in with the spalting, nicely done.

Hi John
Not sure about the foot on this. It looks a bit bulky. Nice finish. One things for sure though, it should hold water!!!

Thank you.

It has worked well so I now have a couple of tubes in the cupboard for the next bit.

I think it must be the picture in real life the foot looks much better.
