The workmanship and combined skill is really great. I do like the idea of the club doing something like this as a whole. I saw an even fancier one of these at St Fagans in Wales and each spindle has captive rings all over it. Not very comfortable I'm afraid but loads of skill involved. Excellent job done.

Yes OK now.
Good club project, but I don'like it.
If I ever manage to persuade our club to tackle something similar it would be a spinning wheel or a set of bagpipes. 
Anyone who wants to leer at a headless naked female follow on to the west Australian woodcarvers.
