Title: Woodshavings - Something a little different
Post by: Bryan Milham on May 12, 2013, 07:11:55 PM
For a long time I've been rather taken with a website called Instructables. If you want to 'do it' - 'make it' or 'see how', someone will have beaten you to it and posted an 'Instructable' on it.

So there I am exploring and I come across 'Oyster Mushrooms in a Laundry Basket' (http://www.instructables.com/id/Oyster-Mushrooms-in-a-Laundry-Basket/?ALLSTEPS (http://www.instructables.com/id/Oyster-Mushrooms-in-a-Laundry-Basket/?ALLSTEPS)), reading down I'm thinking 'Wood shavings', and yep, down in the Comments & Questions it says you can use them.

As for a starting spore, pennies off of e-bay.
