I was really disappointed that the confluence of branches eluded me here. To find a piece of monkey puzzle in which the branches are so symmetrical is rare and precious. I simply got the geometry wrong.
The shallow bowl is 16" wide and 3/8" thick.
I had to leave the small foot on because the bowl would have gone through.
C&C and advice on how to get it right very welcome ------I know about the tear out on the underside - I ran out of wood to turn away
Oh...the Prof's gone into temporary hiding having dispatched close to 100 orders for steam driven egg cups as wedding presents for a certain Royal.
Regards Nick

Ah, but if we all got it right, all the time, there would be no interest left in life.
Anyway, whats wrong with a bit of asymmetry?
