Title: Cleaning Brushes
Post by: Turners cabin on July 12, 2012, 07:00:20 PM
After doing some stain and paint work today i needed to clean my brushes as we all do
and looking around for a suitable receptacles for the thinners i happened to see a hip flask ( i get these every x mass and birthday as i like a drink of Jack now and again )
After filling it with the thinners’ using the little funnel provided i can clean my brushes with no spillage or splashing and just screw the lid on and it won’t evaporate. As we say jobs a fish
  ;D

"Just remember to label it well wouldn’t want someone having a sip”

I can see the wisdom of this.

Are your flasks Metal or leather covered or Glass please.

Not that I've got many (well only one) hip flasks, but I can see it translating to other items equally as well.
