Title: Yew Vase

Hi All,
Vase made from Yew finnished wiyh two coats of Lemon oil.
Dimensions: height 230mm, large diameter 160 mm, top diameter 90mm and wall thickness 8 mm

Hi Ken,   Yew made a good job there, beautiful vase, like the shape and it's finished well with the lemon oil, add to my list to get...

        Nice Vase the grain pattern is lovely,when turning Yew it never disappoints And I like Lemon oil or Orange oil as a Finish.Regards John

           a simple shape that allows the graing to be shown off. Looks to be well finished.

Hi to All,
Thanks for the comments.
I now use Lemon oil on the majority of my turnings. It is easy to apply and drys evenly and quickly. I normally leave the 2nd coat for 24hrs and then use burnishing cream which improves the feel of the outer surface.
