Title: poolewood Euro 1000
Post by: vyvsdad on November 06, 2013, 01:43:08 PM
Hello all,
I have been offered the above lathe, a poolewood Euro 1000, complete with all the bits, and several chucks and other bits and bobs for £600. I was looking for an upgrade and wanted to know if you guys considered this a good lathe and a good deal.

Be interested to hear your thoughts.

Dan

I have the 1500 version of that lathe and would consider the 1000 very good value for the price and the bits with it.
it is direct drive variable speed 1hp. A  thread protector is a must to remove any mt items as no hollow spindle for a knockout bar.

It's a great lathe. Good price too. Bite their hand off.
