Title: Yew hollow form with the shakes

Fresh of the lathe this morning a Yew hollow form there are so many shakes in it bits were flying every were as I was turning it so it plenty of supper glue LOL it ended up being 6" wide x 4 1/2" tall finished with 2 coats sanding sealer 1 coat of friction polish and woodturners stick

No kidding...

I'll bet that was an interesting diversion to turn.

And you've nailed the finish.

Nice piece Woody, I like this form. I think it would look nice on any body's desk, love the finish.

Woody, yew heard this all before... this is a stunning piece, it can be that from the roughest of timbers can yield, as with this work a form of beauty, well done.
