Had a wee break from colouring wood tonight. Just done this plain Elm Hollow Form, 8"x6". Although I was tempted to add some colour I thought the grain was to nice to add anything more. As always C & C's welcome

me George, I put them up but for some reason they are on their side so trying to rotate them the right way up

i see pictures and it's a cracker. not just a well tuned object but a gorgeous bit of elm.
you did it justice mate, well done.

I'd say that's a perfect example of when to stop. It's a beautiful piece and rightly, needed nothing adding to it. Good decidion.

I think the technical term for this is bloody gorgeous! Wonderful wood, beautifully turned and finished.

Great piece Gary it would have been sacrilege to add colour to such a wonderful piece of wood the turning is dam good as well ;)

Getting hollow form that looks right is not that easy but you have certainly managed with this one. Spot on in every respect.
