Post by: georg on March 03, 2018, 08:50:41 PM

Had a play with pouring mediums about 18 months ago but didn't have much luck .... Came across these paints a while
back and finally found some colours I liked so 2 weeks ago decided to have play... they are Vitrail.. Moon.. Prisme.
Its 13" And Off Centre Turned as Always   By Tony  Its possibly off centre focused as well .
  Comments As Always Appreciated

Wow....as if the swirling colours weren't enough, the texture is to die for!

The great thing with this paint is you can almost achieve a 3D effect..... It smells a bit though.

They look great.

Just after Christmas I brought some pouring inks by Liquetex which I hope to have a go at if the effect comes out the same without the texture I will be pleased.

It is this ONE (https://www.cowlingandwilcox.com/pouring-mediums/30380-liquitex-ink-pouring-medium-set?search_query=poring&results=9)

Thank You Derek ..... My first go was using Liquetex pouring medium but found it very messy....With these Oil Based
paints that come with colour already mixed in are not as messy ... The down side is they take a long time to dry. Have Fun.

Tony, Di,

You remind me I bought some of these Pebo paints and have forgotten all about them, time to go digging in the back of the workshop.

I can only hope that I manage to achieve something as dramatic as you have. It wants to be picked up and felt...!
