Title: Happy 150 Years
Post by: woodndesign on May 15, 2013, 12:57:30 AM

I'd clicked on the pictures of the page for google and http://www.frankhornby150.org/ (http://www.frankhornby150.org/) .. 150 years of Hornby, where would we have been with out him .. now if I'd still had mine ...  :( ...

Another 150 I found recently in change, a 2013 £2 coin with the London Under Ground logo on for it's Birthday.

Can I find nothing better ..   ;D ...

Toy trains and cars never did it for me!

...Ah, Meccano, now that was my passion. I only sold my sets (had many of them) a couple of years ago to a collector, so I know they are still safe and loved.

It was the start of engineering me me and many other children, best toy ever.

As I said I have many sets, including the 'Electronic' set and several different motors. But I always wanted the Steam Engine, I'm now jealous.
