Title: Some pens

2 pens i made today the first one is made from Vitica Burr, 2nd African Tulipwood,   they are both very nice woods to turn but all different from each other and they all take a very nice finish

Hi John they are the junior gents from timber bits $4 or £2.66 each he is the best and cheapest I can find he is an engineer so he gets the best results and some of his kits he has made to his own specification even his delivery charges are cheaper than if you buy in the UK if I remember rightly it is about $6 http://www.timberbits.com/jr-gentlemans-pen-kits.html

hi Woody, I have found when I have purchased kits from the USA when adding the Post Office (Royal Mail) handling charge, vat and import duty it makes them expensive.Regards John

Woody, I've never turned pens, never felt the need.

Thank you gentlemen for your kind comments I only turn pens now for my wood collection every new wood I get the first thing I do is cut a pen blank of I have over 500 different species so far just scratching the surface and at my age I dont think I will get any were near to completing the collection but I will enjoy trying LOL
