Afternoon All
Used up the other piece of wood that the first goblet was made from, similar size to the last one but with a different shaped base and coloured blue
c&c welcome
All the best

Overall nice shape and colouring though I would suggest making the base a little wider?

Thanks Pete
your right, have just checked with the other one made, the base is the same diameter, but the bowl on the new one is a tad wider than the first which is making the base look a bit smaller
thanks

The colour is so vibrant that if I'd seen this anywhere other than a wood turning forum, I'd have assumed that it was glass. Amazing depth of colour and quality of finish.

I like the colour Andy.
I would have left the base of the foot black not colour right to the floor if that makes sense it would have left a nice black band that would tie in with the black stem.

Thank you for the comments George, they are always appreciated fella, it makes perfect sense regarding the foot ( like I did on the first one) looking at it again it would have made a significant improvement if id left the rim of the base black, but hey ho we live and learn
Cheers

I think I prefer this one to the first (green goblet), no special reason, just a preference for the turquoise colour over the green.
