Title: Tripoli wax
Post by: bodrighywood on May 16, 2014, 04:48:32 PM
Just been looking for tripoli wax as I am nearly run out of the bar I have had for years. Can't believe that it is going to cost me a tenner. Seems the same price (inc. P+P) wherever I look. Is that how much I am going to have to fork out or does anyone know of anywhere it is cheaper?

Are all the bars the same size?

Chestnut's ”compound 1“ - that's Tripoli - is  listed at £4.25

If you have to buy by post, surely you can stock up on other stuff at the same time?

Hi Pete,
I sell my own version of buffing kits and have access to a range of compounds. Let me know what size Tripoli compound you are after and I may be able to help. e.g. 20oz. bar would be £4.75 plus £2.80 postage. I can do smaller and larger sizes. Unfortunately postage has become a major cost since Royal Mail significantly increased its prices but there are other options and I will always look for the best price.
Hope that helps,

Thank you for your advice and understanding of my miserly attitude LOL. Seriously thanks. I've got several options now.
