Looks to be the same as the Viper 2 chuck available from Charnwood. Although I have not used this myself I have tested its larger brother for Woodturning magazine and was very impressed; a very competent chuck and very good value for money.
The Viper 2 is usually available in the same package as a show special at many of the woodturning shows - if my memory serves me correct it was £125 at Yandles last year.
Regards
Kevin

I went on the rutlands site earlier, chucks don`t fit my lathe,(Jet 3520B),so had a look in the sale section and bought a 3/8" spindle gauge,1/2" spindle gauge,1" standard skew and a 3/8" bowl gauge for £50.75p including postage, have to see what the quality is,but can`t be any worse than axminsters perform tools, regards,
Eric.
