This is resinous eucalyptus, very dry it soaked up the first two DO coats as if it didnt exist. Have a look at the dull image this is after the two coats of DO. Finished with three coats of WOP as the recipient wanted a gloss finish.
Size 6.5"x5.0" filled the burl prior to turning with CA as it looked a bit fragile.

Yet another one of your wonderful pieces, like the details and finish, maybe a little OTT with the WOP, but then that's just how it looks from the flash in the picture.
It's a winner.

What are 2 coats DO ?
3 coats WOP ? - something Italian ?
& turning with CA ?
Bob A Job , AKA New boy

DO = Danish Oil
WOP = Wipe on polyurethane (a varnish)
CA = Cyanoacrylate (Super Glue)
