Title: Coffee Table
Post by: John on September 29, 2011, 08:35:37 AM
I have just completed this Elm table. It is 460 dia x 640mm (18x25ins)
I used a router in a slide over the bedbars to make the mortice joint for the leg attachmet.
The legs were formed by rough cutting on the bandsaw, then routed round a template.
I used renassiance wax for the finish

Hi John

That's a nifty piece of work.  I like projects like this one - it involves many skills and it's very satisfying when it's all donw.

A great job.

Don't let the dog at it!! ::)

Cheers Dave

Let me guess, SWMBO is either wondering 'Where do I put it' or more likely 'It looks unbalanced, can you make another one?'

Very nice job you've done there John.

John, a very nice table, like the drop finial and ball feet, nice sharp details, well done on it, finish looks good too.
