John,  You've made two very nice pen's, I have read a write up about the kits, but how did you find them for putting together.

One thing to ask, is it me or are all the pictures so small..    :-[...

Hi John

I think these are a great.  I've just been reading about them.  If I recall he idea was to drip thin superglue over the bits before turning.  Knowing me I can just see what'll happen :o ;D

Cheers Dave

Hello everyone Thank you for taking the time to comment on the Pens.Dave I never used any Super Glue, there is a good article in issue 224 page 82 by Tom Streeter this is very much the same way as I turned my pens.
David I found these quite easy to put together I bought these from Turners Retreat and they will send you instructions if you request when ordering. The most important points to me were Facing the ends and turning carefully to avoid chipping. Two other areas where I get Pen Kit instructions are,www.bereahardwoods.com and thevillageworkshop.net
John (BHT) and Andy, I am getting better with technical things. ::)

Note.I have added the above Links on to Andy's thread "To get the ball rolling"

Thanks Andy, I'd done that at the time..   but it has now worked this time...

John, I'm glad you found them easy to put together, I to thought the gaps had to be filled with superglue, will have to check the article as to how to go about it, but at the moment to get anything started would be great, should the weekend be dry and warmer outside..   this maybe the time... :)...
