Woody,

quite chunky but nothing wrong in that at all, sometimes a piece need the weight to carry it properly. I do like the way you've changed the turned angle leading to the rim.

I have to ask (having never heard the expression, what's a life bowl please?

The chunky look is only caused by the angle of the photo the walls are under cut to 1/8" thick a life bowl in just a bowl that you put your loos change, car keys or just some were to empty your pockets into it is what some customers of mine in Scotland called them

Woody,

thanks for the explanation, I've know the use of the bowl having made several myself as I said I've never heard the term before, and the name well suits it. I'll use it myself, if you don't mind.

Thanks
