Title: Triptych

Triptych of charred and coloured vases. 26cm, 21cm & 17cm hign by 8.5cm at the shoulder.

Beads with an Ashley Isles tool not by hand.

Nice idea, but I think the fibre wasn't kind to you (or the tool not sharp enough, but I would rather doubt that part). I can clearly see a few spots where it just ripped off. I am also not too keen on the top part. The button shaped lip looks a bit odd to me, to be honest.

This is my favourite of your current postings, and I bet that the pots are very tactile as the beading and charring must have given them loads of texture. I can see fuzzy's point about the buttons and would agree with him if they were knobs on lids, but as lips to openings of each vase, I feel they're fine.

I like these, especially as a tryp, they look excellent together. You've got the balance between height & diameter just right across the set, both individually and in comparison to each other.  The fine outer edge of the lids works excellently....the 'join' with the body is very well done.  Al together very pleasing on the eye and just begging to be picked up and caressed!
