A good piece of work. I like the way the upper surface of the piece shows off the interesting grain markings and colour. I like the fine edge to the opening with the slight uplift to accentuate it. The finish allows the wood to speak for itself, no unnecessary gloss ;)

Another very nice piece Andy

The shape is spot on. All the curves in the right place.
The colour of the sycamore is good as well, far nicer that the bland white of clean wood.

A thumbs up from me Andy :)

That's another good one Andy, and I agree with everything said so far, but will add that I like the blackening of the interior, it accentuates the opening and gives a sense of mystery as to what's inside.

Both of your hollow forms are really good examples of simple shapes done perfectly, not easy to do. Love the shapes and fimish on both.
