Just a quick note to wish The Bowler Hatted Turner many congratulations on becoming a Freeman. Well done and well deserved John.

If anyone has a spare few sheep Please contact the Bowler Hatted Turner as he is going to need some before too long. Must be well trained and used to traffic

Hi John,
Congratulations on becoming a Freeman. You'll have to wait until next September to exercise your right to drive sheep across London Bridge.
Two tips to remember: 1. Book your sheep as soon as the website opens and 2.don't let the sheep jump over the bridge!
It's a great day out and well worth it just for the looks on the faces of the tourists! Walking sheep on the bridge? On a Sunday?? Quaint people these English.

Hello John,
Congratulations indeed on becoming a Freeman. One of those quintessentially British things and long may they continue. We share acquaintances who have spoken to me very highly in praise of the work you do for our craft.
I think that there is a clue in our name, we are turners (and not necessarily followers) and that makes the herding cats metaphor very appropriate ;D

Thank you John, always very good to hear nice comments, especially so when they are from friends. If I did not enjoy my job I would not do it.
