Just in from the shed. A nice piece of ash, recovered from the woodpile was coming along nicely as a 9” high vase with a hollowed out base. Deep hollowing and almost down to size - you know the next bit, don’t you? It was thin and a lovely shape and I had made a nice job of it.
Ah well dust to dust, ashes to ashes, firewood to firewood.
Bugger!
