This started as a truncheon, or so my son thought. He helped me rough the outer off. As mentioned, he thought I was doing a truncheon for him, but as he is 16 and therefore stupid, there was no way I was 'arming' him.
This is now a spud masher ;D

In Ireland we called that a "beetle"

The ideas some kids come up with, he could of got away with it if he'd wanted a masher first of all, nice piece, the spuds will never know what hit them.
