I made this little bowl this morning boy was it good to be back in action I dont know what the wood is apart from it being a burr it is one of the bits Doug Barratt droped of for me last week so thanks again mate so far it has had 1 coat of teak oil

Well Woody, there's nout like a good bowl and even better it's turned by you .. welcome back ..
Given the piece and the void, you've turned a nice form and the finish is good for a 1st coat.
Doug's likely to say as to the wood .. could it be Box Elder !!!

I have finished the bowl at last 4 coats of teak oil de-nibbed between coats
