Axminster 1628 Trade Lathe
« on: May 20, 2023, 05:08:31 PM »
Due to personal circumstances I have an Axminster 1628 Lathe for sale.

Assistance can be given with loading if sold before June 2nd due to going in for surgery on that date.

Under strict instructions from my wife I have been told I must get rid of a lathe and as the Axminster comes apart, whereas the Vicmarc VL300 does not, the Axminster needs to go.

The lathe has had very little use and was purchased just before Axminster rebranded to 406. So basically same spec as AP406WL.

Specifications can be found on Axminster website or can be supplied.

Lathe comes complete with stand, bed extension and supplied accessories. Also comes with Robert Sorby Pro Edge sharpening system and with spare belts.  Will also include chuck.

£2,100 or nearest offer.

Based in Northumberland.

Repost because I have added some photos.
