I am looking for plans to build a sled to make a 5 point star. I have seen where the short angle is 30 deg. But nowhere can I find what the long angle is
Thanks Al

I think the short point is 36° for a 5 point star, if you start with the core section which is a pentagon (5 equal sized sides) then extend from the midpoint of each side to the point length it should be easy to find it.

Thank you all for your replies. I think I'll take your advice and save up for a bit to buy a proper wood lathe. I'll be in touch again at some point. Thanks again for the advice. Anybody want to buy a vintage Black & Decker drill lathe attachment? lol.
