Sycamore bowl
« on: April 14, 2020, 05:47:15 PM »
Sycamore bowl turned and finished for a test in Hampshire sheen fanatical in finishing. The bowl is finished to 400 grit sand sealed then a coat of high gloss wax to finish. All comments welcome.

Hey I got one of those, we must have been on the same course  :) I do like the top view of the rim with the nice sharp edge before the bowl. is the rim undercut underneath? not quite sure from the photo's but would make it very tactile if it is.

Looks lovely - am I missing something or is the bowl a different colour from the rim?

thank you for the comments. the bowl is the same colour as the rim think it may be just the photo doing it.
