Thought I'd share this info:
I saw a short video that showed you can buy Black Superglue. The demo I saw, showed it being used to fill a crack in a wooden board.
So that set me wondering, what could you mix with CA to colour it. Almost anything I know you add to it, sets it off, fast.
So a search gave me this YouTube video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGEecsESDBQ.
And a subsequent search for Translucent tinting resin for polyester, polyurethane gave me this link,
https://www.easycomposites.co.uk/#!/resin-gel-silicone-adhesive/pigments-and-dyes/translucent-tinting-pigments/translucent-tinting-pigments-for-clear-casting-resins-set-of-10.html.
The questions page, for these resins on the Easy Composites site, say these colours are oil based and not compatible with CA, but I cannot see any other type of mixer resin that might be available from Easy Composites so I must assume, as the video said, no-one else has tried it or tested it to see if it works.
I also note they can be used for epoxy resins, and at £12.46 for a set of 10 x 25ml bottles is very affordable to experiment with.
