Two horse chestnut vase' s
« on: February 14, 2019, 07:57:35 PM »
The small one is 11" high and 6" wide and the tall one is 12" high and 6" wide.
They have both been sanded to 600 grit and are both being oiled with finishing oil.
Your comments are always welcome. Les

Both fine forms, although it's the one on the left that works the better for me....I'm s sucker for a flowing, continuous curve and this one has it in spades.

(The other) Les
Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.

Derek, I will be bringing a nice laburnum vase to the next meeting mate.

John. They are the wife's shoes. I have had words with her and she has promised that she will not leave her shoes laying about in the future.
Well spotted buddy.

Les,

Classic forms that look good in Wood, ceramic or any other craft materials.

Classic, but you've nailed the curves on both of them perfectly, great work.
