I was meant to be saving for a shed, but I started browsing lathes on eBay and... well, short take is hubs and I ended up driving to Birmingham yesterday to pick up an old model DML24. It's missing a few bits, but it cost me just over three figures and the chap threw in four tools for nowt, so I'm not complaining.

Only problem is my continued lack of shed - in other words somewhere to keep this! ;D

What I need is somewhere to put it! I was hoping it'd squeeze in between the house and the outhouse, but it won't. (The outhouse roof slopes too much to consider that as a workshop.) So we're going to have to tackle the ridiculous incline that is our back garden and erect a shed.

And then buy bits for the lathe, more tools, wood...

Woodturning is the easiest way to make a small fortune.............you start with a large fortune and then........!!!! ::) ::) ::)
