Very nice George, I very much like the clean contrasting colours and lines.
Have you thought whether it would be possible to make a piece where the infilled glass areas are open on both sides so they could be backlit either by either a natural or artifical light source.....just an idea but that's what we're all about isn't it.

Cheers
Rick

Really into this George aren't you?  Are you using a router for the wavy line? Like the idea of having it see through but can forsee the difficulties, none that I'm sure you couldn't surmount though.

Yes Pete I did use a router.
Lots of problems with making something see through but not impossible

I have done it on a very small scale with open splits using maskling tape then sanding both sides, bigger problem on the size you are working on I should think.

George, great work, I sill think they need a back light though. However at that height it would need to be a fluro-tube. I think it would be a great mood light on a room.

Thank you Bryan.
It would not be easy to backlight this it is not pieces of solid glass it is ground glass in a Resin.
It would be easy with a piece of solid glass but that is not the effect I am after.

I very much like these. Not bad for you I suppose. Would be really good if I had thought of it of course, but seeing it is you I will say not bad.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Joking of course, really like them and I think there is a lot of mileage in them. Have you thought about doing similar around the rim of a wide rim bowl ?
