As you say George, 'no doubt' they both are my inspiration to do better all the time. I had the privilege to  meet Joey Richardson
at 'Wizardry in Wood' this year and had very interesting conversation with her.
Wood spinner, You've got to believe it. It took 3 weeks to make this. I've just taken up airbrushing and just love it!

Wow it looks like you have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at this piece. Very Binn Po

I can certainly see the amount of work that has gone into the production of this vase.

I'm glad you took the second image from a slightly different perspective, as it shows the overall shape well, which is hidden in the first image's angle. The shape and most unusual work on the foot sit well together.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the random shaped piercing work on the front against the linear pierced work on the rear. The join between them does not show, but from a personal perspective staying with all random or all linear my have looked better.

Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!

Thank you all for your comments, and in particular dr4g0nfly. I have looked at it with his eyes and thought, (which of course is the main reason for this forum) I will reverse my name for the vase, and have the rear view now, to be the front, and call it 'Windows in the Wood' My original idea was in fact to have three window frames seemingly from an abandoned cottage, with tree branches intertwined through the frames with a bird, insects and flowers around the rest of the vase.

(My fascination for Hummingbirds clouded my thoughts)
