Midlands Show at Newark
« on: March 12, 2016, 11:41:48 PM »
I've  seen information about the Midlands Show a Newark next weekend

Did anybody go last year?

Is  it worth making the trip?

With best wishes and thanks.

Hi MC
I went last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you've been to the Harrogate show then the format and many of the exhibitors/traders are much the same. The big plus as far as I and others I've spoken to are concerned is that it is quieter and feels more relaxed as a result. Will be there on Saturday..... Hope you enjoy it if you go.
Cheers
Rick

I  live in Hertfordshire so Harrogate is  just too far to drive.

I've  been to the Show at Maidstone a couple of times and to the ones at Cressing Temple (almost on our doorstep!).

Newark look as if it will be a couple of hour's drive up the A1 and is  about the limit of feasibility fo a day's outing.

With best wishes and thanks.

I have the same issue just in reverse, there are so many shows and events'Down South' that I'd love to see, it's just too costly in terms of time and expense to justify (to the bank manager  ;) )
