Hi 'wider'....always good to see new members, and especially so when they bring work as good as this.

Might I make one suggestion; re-size your photos before you post them so that they can be seen in full without having to scroll the screen.

I usually re-size mine to about 1400x800...do you have software to do this? If not, just Google 'resize images'; there's plenty of simple progs on the net that you can download.

thank you for that and yes I can resize. I have just realized that this is the problem I have in trying to post another photo.i will try that.

You did well with this, a very dramatic piece of timber does not always need a lot of work. But the finish is always important, and you've got that right.

I do agree that if it was easier to see in one go it would be better, but I see you've got the idea of that in later posts.
