Jason, you could have called this piece Out of This World, it reminds me of something in space. I think I like it.

Have to come back to this one as I like the overall effect but the colours aren't working for me at the moment. Seem to clash with the bare wood to me. Probably just personal taste (or lack of it on my part) again LOL.

I quite like this one. I think the inner ring of colour has a too abrupt ending, the diffusion into the outer half (where there are only streaks of yellow/gold) could be a little more continuous.
But, hey, we are talking details of personal taste here, really.

Jason I like this piece but I think I would like it even more if the bowl itself was offset. It would then look like something from another world.

Jason,

I use these paints as well, want to know what's wrong?

The Red.

I gave up using the red when it can blend with another of the range (okay on it's own, or over/under a dry coat) but when it blends, especially with gold, it's an awful pink hue. It's not a strong enough colour to use like this.
