Be interesting to see where this one goes (Haven't gotta clue), I immediately saw a pair of lace knickers for some reason LOL. I'm sure that isn't quite what you have in mind though Mark.

Mark I hate to drop a spanner in the works but where you made the recess smaller the texturing follows the edge on the right hand side.

No spanner at all, thanks for picking up on it. Soon sort that out tomorrow, it was a bit of a job to insert hardener and rebuild the rectangle, a few more burns and it well look natural. You can let me know if it worked at Yandles.

How do you make the opening smaller Mark. Do you have one of those lathes that work in reverse ?
Regards
Graham
I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

Hi Graham

I may not have been clear, I meant the recess that I cut in the front/the rectangle which will later accept a contrasting material.  To reduce this in size I simply filled the whole recess with sawdust that I mixed with PVA into a thick paste, filled the recess just proud of the surface allow to dry and simple cut out a new recess. Then pyro'd around the new surface.
