The Daniel Collection
« on: August 12, 2015, 08:23:44 AM »
I see many of the Pablo Nemzoff collaboration pieces auctioned off at the seminar were brought by 'The Daniel Collection'

I keep hearing this name, who ( or what ) are they ?

Graham
I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

It's a collection by a couple, Shirley Sinclair and Jonathon Cuff. They live near or in London and collect woodturning from all over the world. They are great supporters of the craft / art and I think have connections to either the RPT or the Worshipful Company. Their website is here

Turners don't make mistakes, they have design opportunities

Hi Graham,
Pete is quite correct they have both supported the AWGB for years not only do they purchase a considerable number of pieces at the auction they photograph every piece in the Instant Gallery and the top 50 pieces that go on tour they should be commended for their work.

                                                 Regards John
