strictly speaking irish yew is grown in ireland.you got this from dorset.i had some stripey lie that recently but it did not last once it dried as it started to blend into it's usual colour. shame really as was incredibly striking to the eye.
i was going to point out that fastigiata refers to the cultivar not the species however this could open a whole can of worms so i'll stop there.that article does tell you the botanical species it is referring to.
