« on: June 01, 2015, 08:32:56 PM »
Recently finished a bowl ( 15" dia and 5" deep )  from a Ginkgo tree I felled last year ..    this piece had a few burrs but the rest was a bit bland ...

A very nice bowl and just enough burr to take away from the plainess (if there is such a word) of the wood

A beautiful bit of wood and justice has been done to it.

Graham
I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?
